Early Life and Education

Nara Lokesh was born in the year 1983 on January 23. He is the only son of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuvaneswari. And the grandson of popular Telugu film actor and legendary politician NT Rama Rao. In 2007, Lokesh was married to his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna’s first daughter Nandamuri Brahmani and had a son named Devvan.

He has done an MBA from Stanford University and done his BSc in the department of management information systems from Carnegie Mellon University.  

Political Career

In 2009, he began managing TDP’s political affairs by actively immersing himself in campaigns. In 2014, CBN inducted Lokesh as an MLC and thereafter was inducted as the Cabinet minister for IT, Panchayathi Raj and Rural Development. In 2017, he became Party General Secretary, subsequently climbing up the Party’s totem pole to eventually become a member of the Politburo, the highest decision-making body of the party.

The Lokesh Trust has designed the Health Care Program that helps poor people to take care of their health and receive good health care in accordance with their needs. This is a program of rural and urban nuisance. He is conducting blood bags, health camps, mobile clinics and night camps.

Awards and Achievements

Nara Lokesh was bestowed the “Skoch Person of the Year” in 2018, for his innovative use of technology while resolving issues related to drinking water supply, transparency in governance, and other activities under his Panchayati Raj portfolio.

He started eight IT companies as Information Technology Minister.

In 2018, he was also awarded the Abdul Kalam Innovation in Governance Award for providing creative and technical support for the administration.
